Thinking about God's grace

"Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need." Hebrews 4 :16

Grace ... what does that word make you think of? It brings comfort and joy to my mind. The Lord in all of his glory gives us (dirty old sinners) his grace. We don't deserve it. We can't work for it. He gives it to us for free!! Isn't that awesome? What a loving God we serve. "To the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the beloved." Ephesians 1:6

Thank you Lord for your grace. "For all things are for your sakes, so that the grace which is spreading to more and more people may cause the giving of thanks to abound to the glory of God." 2 Corinthians 4:15

An old hymn comes to mind as well:

Grace, grace, God’s grace,
Grace that will pardon and cleanse within;
Grace, grace, God’s grace,
Grace that is greater than all our sin.
